Kajian Perubahan Penggunaan Lahan Pertanian Ke Non Pertanian Terhadap Mata Pencaharian Penduduk di Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara Kebupaten Banyumas Tahun 2004 -2013

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the change of agricultural land use to the livelihood of the people in
Kecamatan Purwokerto Utara of Banyumas Regency in 2004 and 2013. The method used in this research is
field survey. Technique of data collecting is done by using interview method. Data analysis is descriptive
qualitative and comparative descriptive using frequency table, percentage and comparative. The population of
the study is the owner of the paddy field that is experiencing a change that is 211 people. Samples in this study
amounted to 53 people whose land changes and the technique of sampling is done by purposive sampling area
by having certain considerations in the sampling. The results showed that there was a change of agricultural
land use to non-agricultural land in 2004 and 2013. The change of agricultural land into non-agriculture is
divided into four types, namely agricultural land into settlement area of 15.21%, agricultural land into company
land of 2.9%, land agriculture into service land of 3.4%, and settlement land is integrated with the company's
land of 1.3%. The biggest land use change occurred in the Purwanegara urban area. Land use change resulted
in Livelihood change. Population livelihoods varied, livelihoods remained as farmers only 24.5%, while those
turned into self-employed by 37.7%, civil servants by 17%, private by 11.3%, and workers by 9.4%. Changes
Livelihoods of residents in North Purwokerto District dominantly turned into entrepreneurs.
