Assessment of Serayu Sand Miners Welfare in Kaliori Banyumas

Abstract

This study aims: 1) to determine the level of welfare of sand miners, 2) to know the ratio of income in the dry
season and rainy season. The research method is survey. Population in this research is all laborer of sand
miner of Serayu in Kaliori (56 people). The sample collection technique in this study is the total sampling
where the entire population is sampled. Data collection techniques using questionnaire (questionnaire). Data
analysis technique used is correlation and t-test. From the research results can be concluded that the level of
welfare of sand miners in Kaliori Village Kalibagor District Banyumas Regency is Prosperous II. In addition
there is a difference in income in the dry season and rainy season. It is known from the result of t-test where
thitung <t-table (0,314 <1,980).
