Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Pewaktu Digital Pada Lomba Panjat Dinding

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem pewaktu digital untuk kompetisi panjat dinding yang sesuai dengan standar International Federation of Sports Climbing (IFSC). Pengukuran waktu dalam kompetisi speed climbing saat ini menggunakan sistem mekanik-listrik yang akurat untuk memastikan akurasi dan keadilan, khususnya untuk menentukan pemenang ketika terjadi seri. Sistem pewaktu digital yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai pusat kendali. Komponen utama termasuk sensor garis TCRT-5000 untuk mendeteksi start dan false start, sensor sentuh sebagai penentu akhir waktu, push button untuk kontrol instruksi, buzzer sebagai indikator suara, dan display dot matrix untuk menampilkan waktu secara digital. Sistem ini juga dirancang untuk mendeteksi false start sesuai regulasi IFSC secara otomatis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini memiliki tingkat akurasi dengan selisih waktu rata-rata sebesar 0,9 detik dan rerata kesalahan sebesar 1,55% dibandingkan dengan pengukuran menggunakan stopwatch. Dengan sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akurasi dan keandalan proses dokumentasi dan penjurian dalam kompetisi panjat dinding.
