This research explores the phenomenon of the Korean Wave and the euphoria of fanaticism among K-Pop fans on social media, along with its impact. The study aims to describe how the Korean Wave shapes fanatical behavior on social media, outline the patterns of fanatical behavior towards K-Pop, and identify factors influencing fanatical behavior. Descriptive research method is employed with subjects consisting of both K-Pop fans from fandom communities and individuals outside of fandom communities. Data collection involves observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the Korean Wave plays a significant role in shaping fanatical behavior by strengthening emotional bonds between fans and idols. Solidarity among fans is also formed but may potentially generate negative energy. Additionally, within the Hallyu phenomenon, the research highlights the role of social media and marketing strategies for K-Pop idols. The importance of this research lies in understanding the dynamics of fanaticism behavior in the digital age and its impact on individuals and society.
