Korelasi Antara Grit dan Kepuasan Kerja : Studi Meta-Analisis
Abstract
Kepuasan kerja adalah salah satu aspek yang penting dalam keberlangsungan perusahaan. Namun tidak semua pegawai merasakan adanya kepuasan ketika bekerja, sehingga dapat berdampak pada tingginya stres kerja, menurunnya performa kerja, hingga turnover. Berbagai penelitian menyatakan bahwa grit merupakan salah satu aspek kepribadian yang dapat memprediksi adanya kepuasan bekerja pada pegawai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan korelasi grit terhadap kepuasan kerja melalui metode meta-analisis. Penelitian mengunakan 9 jurnal yang melibatkan 2.692 responden yang relevan untuk dilakukan melalui uji statistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai effect size yaitu sebesar 0,293 (95% CI = 0,166 – 0,42), p<0,001. Heterogenitas (I2) yaitu sebesar 90.72% dan egger bias pada meta- sebesar 0,919 sehingga tidak ada bias publikasi. Grit memiliki small effect size terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa terdapat variabel-variabel lain selain grit yang lebih berkorelasi dengan dengan kepuasan kerja. Terbatasnya jumlah studi yang digunakan dan penggunaan alat ukur yang berbeda berpengaruh terhadap hasil korelasi dari penelitian ini, sehingga perlu berhati-hati dalam proses mengaplikasikan hasil penelitian. Penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya mempertimbangkan penggunaan alat ukur yang serupa dalam mengukur kedua variabel.
