Hubungan Health Consciousness Dengan Kontrol Diri dalam Penerapan Protokol Kesehatan Pencegahan Covid-19 pada Dewasa Awal

Individu pada usia dewasa awal termasuk salah satu kelompok usia yang beresiko tinggi menjadi penyebar Covid-19 di masyarakat. Diperlukan kontrol diri individu untuk mematuhi aturan penerapan protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19 sehingga dapat menekan laju penyebaran penyakit dengan lebih efektif. Adanya motivasi dan kesadaran individu akan kesehatan dirinya dapat membantu pengendalian diri individu dalam menerapkan perilaku hidup sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan health consciousness dengan kontrol diri dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19 pada dewasa awal. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonprobability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 181 individu usia dewasa awal. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara health consciousness dengan kontrol diri dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19 pada individu usia dewasa awal. Selain itu, hasil penelitian tambahan juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan mean kontrol diri yang signifikan pada individu dewasa awal dilihat dari aspek pekerjaan dan pendidikan individu.
