GAYA KOMUNIKASI MERTUA PEREMPUAN DENGAN MENANTU PEREMPUAN YANG TINGGAL DALAM SATU RUMAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gaya komunikasi antara mertua perempuan dengan menantu perempuan yang tinggal dalam satu rumah di kelurahan Tanjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang diarahkan untuk memberikan fakta-fakta atau kejadian secara sistematis dan akurat sesuai dengan kebenaran berdasarkan data yang diperoleh. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah wawancara dan observasi dengan mertua perempuan. Informan primer yaitu mertua perempuan sebanyak 3 orang dan informan sekunder yaitu menantu perempuan sebanyak 3 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penlitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis data model interaktif. Teknik pengambilan subjek dilakukan dengan teknik purposive. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah infoman 1 menggunakan dua jenis gaya komunikasi yaitu attentive style dan friendly style. Informan 2 menggunakan tujuh gaya komunikasi yaitu animated expresive style, open style, relaxed style, attentive style, impression leaving style, friendly style, dan precise style. Sedangkan informan 3 menggunakan lima jenis gaya komunikasi yaitu animated expressive style, relaxed style, attentive style, imprresion leaving style, friendly style.
