Abstract

Bullying makin marak dilakukan remaja di sekolah mengakibatkan banyak hal buruk terjadi. Bullying di sekolah tidak hanya bentuk fisik namun juga bullying verbal dan psikologis. Proses pembelajaran di sekolah harus mampu menciptakan suasana sekolah yang positif bagi siswa dapat belajar dan bersosialisasi. Remaja saat ini semakin banyak kehilangan empati sehingga schadenfreude muncul ketika teman yang mengalami kesusahan jarang dibantu ataupun ditolong. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji hubungan antara iklim sekolah dan schadenfreude dengan bullying di sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan. Hipotesis mayor awal diterima yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara iklim sekolah, schadenfreude dengan bullying. Hipotesis minor 1 dan 2 juga diterima, yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara iklim sekolah dan bullying serta schadenfreude dan bullying. Sumbangan efektif dari masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen sebesar 24,4% untuk variabel Iklim Sekolah (X1) dan 30% untuk variabel schadenfreude (x2). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa schadenfreude memiliki dampak terbesar pada perilaku bullying di sekolah. Siswa dan guru saling melindungi untuk mencegah bullying di sekolah.
