Kesejahteraan Psikologis Di Tengah Aktivitas Media Sosial

Psychological well-being menjadi aspek penting karena berperan dalam meningkatkan self-esteem dan kualitas interaksi sosial pengguna media sosial, sedangkan tingkat psychological well-being yang rendah dapat meningkatkan risiko isolasi sosial dan kecemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keterkaitan active social media use dan social connectedness dengan psychological well-being. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 390 pengguna aktif media sosial di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Multidimensional Scale of Facebook Use, Social Connectedness Scale-Revised, dan Scales of Psychological Well-Being. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Pearson Product-Moment dan korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya keterkaitan yang signifikan antara active social media use dan social connectedness dengan psychological well-being (p < 0,05). Semakin tinggi active social media use dan social connectedness, semakin tinggi pula psychological well-being pengguna media sosial. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi dasar dalam penyusunan program edukasi untuk mendorong penggunaan media sosial yang sehat dan bermanfaat
