PENGARUH POLA ASUH ORANGTUA TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DI SMK KESATRIAN PURWOKERTO TAHUN 2011/2012

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orangtua terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik kelas XI di SMK Kesatrian Purwokerto tahun 2011/2012. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 134 peserta didik yang terdiri dari teknik multimedia, teknik audio video, teknik kendaraan ringan yang diperoleh berdasarkan teknik pengambilan sample yaitu Cluster Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala pola asuh orangtua dan skala kedisiplinan peserta didik. Berdasarkan uji validitas, diperoleh koefisien validitas skala pola asuh orangtua yang bergerak dari r =0,356 sampai dengan r = 0,55. Skala kedisiplinan peserta didik yang bergerak dari r = 0,371 sampai dengan r = 0,566. Hasil uji reliabilitas skala pola asuh orangtua diperoleh nilai alpha 0,902 dan skala kedisiplinan peserta didik diperoleh nilai alpha sebesar 0,919. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis varian, diperoleh nilai F hitungnya 26,79 dengan taraf signifikansi (p) 0,000. Jika (p) <0,05 maka ada pengaruh dari pola asuh orangtua terhadap kedisiplinan peserta didik. Pola asuh authoritative dengan tingkat kedisiplinan rendah memiliki nilai 2,2%, sedang 24,6% dan tinggi 15,7% lalu totalnya yaitu 42,5%. Pola asuh authoritarian dengan tingkat kedisiplinan rendah memiliki nilai 8,2%, sedang 21,6% dan tinggi 5,2% lalu totalnya yaitu 35,1%. Pola asuh permissive dengan tingkat kedisiplinan rendah memiliki nilai 9,7%, sedang 12,7% dan tinggi 0% dan totalnya yaitu 22,4%. Kata Kunci : pola asuh orangtua, kedisiplinan peserta
