Vitamin E & Omega-3 Mencegah Adhesi Intraperitoneum Melalui Inhibisi Kadar Tgf- Î’ Cairan Peritoneum

Adhesi intraperitoneum merupakan komplikasi dari prosedur paska laparotomi yang dapat menyebabkan nyeri panggul kronis, obstruksi usus, terbentuknya fistula enterokutan, serta infertilitas pada wanita. Banyak penelitian dilakukan mencoba memecahkan permasalahan ini, termasuk dengan pemberian vitamin E dan omega 3 topikal dalam soybean oil untuk menemukan agen antiadhesi yang ideal. Membuktikan efek pemberian vitamin E dan omega-3 topikal dalam soybean oil terhadap kadar TGF- β cairan peritoneum dan derajat adhesi intraperitoneum pada tikus wistar yang dilakukan abrasi ileum. Penelitian ini merupakan uji eksperimental post test only group design. Wistar jantan (n = 24) dilakukan abrasi ileum, terbagi menjadi 4 kelompok: K (kontrol), P1 (vitamin E 10 mg dalam soybean oil 5 ml), P2 (omega-3 40 mg dalam soybean oil 5 ml), P3 (kombinasi vitamin E 10 mg dan omega-3 40 mg dalam soybean oil 10 ml). Setelah 14 hari perlakuan dilakukan relaparotomi, kemudian diadakan evaluasi terhadap kadar TGF-β dan derajat adhesi intraperitoneum. Analisis statistik beda derajat adhesi intraperitoneum dan kadar TGF-β antar kelompok dilakukan dengan uji Mann Whitney. Uji korelasi derajat adhesi intraperitoneum dengan kadar TGF-β cairan peritoneum menggunakan uji Spearman. Uji Mann Whitney derajat adhesi intraperitoneum menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna (p<0,05), kecuali kelompok P1 dibandingkan dengan P2 menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak bermakna (p=0,652). Uji Mann Whitney kadar TGF-β menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna (p<0,05), sedangkan perbedaan yang tidak bermakna ditunjukkan ketika kelompok P1 dibandingkan dengan P2 (p=0,262) dan kelompok P2 dibandingkan dengan P3 (p=0,078). Uji korelasi antara derajat adhesi intraperitoneum dengan kadar TGF-β cairan peritoneum menunjukkan hasil korelasi positif yang kuat dengan r=0,666 (p<0,05). Pemberian vitamin E dan omega 3 topikal dalam soybean oil topikal intraperitoneum dapat menurunkan kadar TGF-β cairan peritoneum dan derajat adhesi intraperitoneum.
