Abstract

Agama sejak dulu telah memiliki tempat yang mapan dalam proses transmisi ilmu-ilmu kegamaaan yang bersifat tradisional, namun ketika terjadi perkembangan teknologi-yaitu hadirnya media, membuat praktik ritual dan otoritas keagamaan tradisional mengalami tantangan. Artikel ini dijalankan menggunakan pendekatan kerangka agama digital dari Campbell dengan menyoroti transformasi praktik ritual Islam melalui studi kasus aplikasi Muslim Pro dan bagaimana negosiasi terhadap otoritas keagamaan tradisional dengan hadirnya website Cariustadz.id. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan juga analisis konten. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan media yang semakin terstruktur dengan kehidupan manusia menguatkan wacana agama digital dan otoritas keagamaan tradisional tidak sepenuhnya bergeser, teknologi yang semakin canggih justru mampu merebut dan memperkokoh kembali basis otoritas keagamaan tradisional. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan inovasi melalui hadirnya aplikasi mobile Muslim Pro yang membantu dan mempermudah umat Muslim untuk melakukan praktik keagamaan atau ibadah sebagai bentuk ketaatan kepada Allah. Kemudian adaptasi yang cemerlang dari para otoritas keagamaan tradisional yaitu lembaga Pusat Studi Al-Qur’an (PSQ) dengan meluncurkan website Cariustadz.id sebagai bentuk profesionalisasi pendakwah tradisional dan juga respon terhadap masyarakat yang membutuhkan pendakwah yang kompeten dan juga moderat.
