Awareness Capacity of Muara Karang Generator Unit to Face the Failure of Environmental Impact Technology

Abstract

This article relates to several previous studies which discuss: 1) Hazard hazard index index on generating units, 2) Hazardous elements that are vulnerable to impact, 3) preparedness of generating units in facing the threat of danger of failing environmental impact technologies. Preparedness facing a hazard in the risk of power production is vital in the generation unit. Handling fails technology as a form of handling the risks of generation to support the reliability of power production by the generation unit. Failure of technology in power production at generator is non natural aspect of disaster by referring to Law no 24 year 2007 about disaster and disaster BNPB no 2 year 2012 related to disaster risk assessment, and Ministerial Regulation no 21 year 2008. Discussion that exist in this publication relates to the extent of the existing hazard threat stems from a technological failure in the operation of the generating unit. Further aspects of the element may be affected by the subsequent dangers of technological failure in the generation unit. The preparedness carried out by the Muara Karang generation unit manifests the handling of each plant in the generation environment.
