Peer Review Process

  1. Blind peer review -articles will be reviewed by relevant reviewers.
  2. Generally, articles in the Journal Hukum Ekonomi Syariah are reviewed by one person according to their field.
  3. Reviewer policy:
  • Provide comments and corrections in the manuscript
  • Make a summary of the complete assessment sheet
  • Give clear advice or suggestions to the editor
  • If the reviewer recommends being "accepted" by the revision, explain how the revision should be carried out
  • If the reviewer recommends "reject" then it must provide alternative journals or suggestions so that the prospect of "resubmission" or "submission" elsewhere will become possible.
  1. Several parameters to evaluate the article
  • Is the manuscript data and information new and original?
  • Can the article contribute significantly to advancing science?
  • Has similar material been published elsewhere?
  • Does the substance of the manuscript fit better in another journal?
  • Are the references current or up to date and actually mentioned in the article?
  • Does the method section of the article align with the research objectives?
  • The author presents the manuscript clearly and easily read.
  • Are there errors of fact and calculations?
  • Does the table in the article present the data clearly and concisely?
  • Are all the important illustrations needed in the article?
  • Is the abstract written concisely?
  • Can the title of the article represent the contents of the article?
  • Does the grammar and spelling of the article meet the standards?
