Abstract

Background: Quality improvement is the process of measuring how well a service meets standards or principles through systematic and continuous revision actions in order to achieve maximum or superior service quality, in accordance with academic standards, as well as current technological capabilities and resources. The dimensions of service quality consist of responsiveness, assurance, tangible, empathy, and reliability.  Objective: The purpose of this service is to improve the quality of services provided by cadres. Method: This service is carried out by counseling to increase the level of knowledge of Posyandu and Jumantik cadres in understanding material regarding service quality. Results: This service activity shows that there is an increase in the knowledge of jumantik cadres after the material is given through the book media that has been given. The average pre-test score for Posyandu cadres is 66.04 and Jumantik cadres is 62.1. While the average posttest score for Posyandu cadres is 96.16 and Jumantik cadres is 92.68. Conclusion: Providing education accompanied by a guidebook on service quality is expected to provide information and guidance for cadres to improve service quality in health programs implemented in the community.
