Potensi Ketoksikan Dermal Akut Produk Kosmetik yang Mengandung 2% Benzofenon-3 pada Kelinci Putih Jantan

Potensi ketoksikan dermal akut dari produksi kosmetik yang mengandung 2% benzofenon-3 telah ditentukan melalui uji iritasi primer menggunakan hewan uji kelinci putih jantan pada tiga peringkat dosis yaitu 0,25 mL; 0,50 mL; 1,00 mL, dan memberikan hasil indeks iritasi primer berturut-turut adalah 1,41; 1,34; dan 1,67. Indeks iritasi primer 2% benzofenon -3 sebesar 0,83. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa 2% berzofenon-3 dan produk kosmetik yang mengandung 2% benzofenon-3 mempunyai potensi hanya sedikit merangsang iritasi.
