PERBANDINGAN ANTARA AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN PERASAN WORTEL IMPOR DENGAN WORTEL LOKAL SECARA IN-VITRO

Abstrak Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk membandingkan aktivitas antioksidan antara perasan wortel import dengan wortel local secara in vitro dengan metode lineleat-tiosianat dengan menggunakan feritisianat (FTC) yang diukur secara spektrofotometri Visibel pada panjang gelombang (ï¬) 500 nm. Percobaan ini dilakukan selama delapan hari dengan mengukur absorbansi perasan wortel importdan local dengan control positif α-tokoferol. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji ANOVA satu arah dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa perasan wortel import dengan wortel local memiliki perbedaan aktivitas antioksidan. KAta kunci: Antioksidan, Daucus carota, Feritiosianat, α-tokoferol. Abstract An experiment was done to compare activity of antioxidant juice of import and local carrot using in-vitro by ferric thyocyanat (FTC) method. The experiment was done for eight days by measuring the value of absorbancy of local and import carrot juice by positive control (α-tocoferol). The obtained data was analized by one way ANOVA continued by BNT test with 95% of confidential degree. The result indicated that juice of local and import carrot show difference in antioxidant activity. Key words: Antioxidant, Daucus carota, ferric thiocyanat, α-tocoferol.References
