This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students in music art learning, especially in the material of musical scales, through the application of the drill method. This method was chosen because it provides structured repetitive practice so that students can understand and master the material better. The study used a classroom action research approach which was implemented in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed a significant increase in three main indicators: average student scores, percentage of learning completion, and student motivation and participation. The average student score increased from 60.5 in the pre-cycle stage to 75.8 in the first cycle, and reached 88.2 in the second cycle.. Student motivation and participation also showed an increasing trend from 40% in the pre-cycle to 90% in the second cycle. These findings indicate that the drill method is effective in improving students' understanding, practical skills, and involvement in music art learning.
