Abstract

This study aims to determine the moral values in the animated series Nussa and Rara and their relevance to Civics learning in elementary schools. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research uses documentation research method. The data analysis technique used in this research is in the form of content analysis. The result showed that the animated film Nussa and Rara with the theme of children’s daily lives had moral messages including moral values towards God (Gratitude, Taqwa, and Ikhlas), moral values towards one self (Honest and forgiving), moral values towards parents (Love and obedience to parents), and moral values towards society (tolerance, mutual help and cooperation). This animated series has relevance to civics learning in elementary school.
