Self regulated learning is an individual activity that independently determines their learning objectives and organizes all learning processes from planning, monitoring, controlling, and evaluating their progress. Another thing that students must have in their learning is self development. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between self development and self regulated learning of students in biology learning. The method used was correlational method. The data collection techniques are in the form of a self development questionnaire to measure self development, and a Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionaire (MSLQ) questionnaire for the self-regulated learning strategies section to measure self regulated learning. The population in this study is class XI MIPA for the 2021/2022 school year, with the determination of cluster random sampling samples and obtained class XI MIPA 3. The results of research and data analysis can be concluded that there is a strong correlation between self development and self-regulated learning with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.677, and a coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.458 so that the magnitude of self development's contribution to self-regulated learning is 45.8%.References
