Abstract

In the learning process, teachers must be able to create an effective and fun learning atmosphere, so that students are able to concentrate on understanding learning. One of the things that teachers can do in improving student concentration is to apply the picture and picture method. This learning strategy has advantages, such as the teacher can better know the abilities of each student, students are trained to think logically and systematically, students are assisted to learn to think from the point of view of the subject matter, students' motivation to learn is increasingly developed, and students are involved in class planning and management. However, this strategy also has drawbacks, such as requiring a lot of time, some students become passive, there is concern that there will be chaos in class, there are certain students who do not like to work with others, and the need for adequate facilities, tools, and costs. This article describes the stages in implementing the picture and picture method. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the picture and picture learning model can be used as a way to increase student concentration in learning.
