Abstract

This study investigates the impact of social media on elementary school students through qualitative methodology as well as a literature review. By synthesizing previous research, we analyze the effects of social media use on students' behavior, cognition, and well-being. Our findings highlight the relationship between social media content, screen time, and children's psychosocial development. This research provides insight into how the digital environment can influence elementary school students' development and prepares the basis for sustainable educational strategies. Our conclusions emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in understanding the role of social media in the lives of pre-adolescent children.
