UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA DENGAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI KELAS XI MANDIRI 2 SMA NEGERI 4 PURWOKERTO

Mathematical connection ability and student learning motivation is one of the success factors in learning. So this class action research aims to determine whether the learning model of Problem Based Learning can improve the ability of mathematical connections and student learning motivation. The techniques used in this study are in the form of questionnaires and written tests. Questionnaires were used to show an increase in students ' learning motivation, while written tests were used to show an increase in mathematical connection skills. This research was conducted from February to May 2024 in Class XI Mandiri 2 SMA Negeri 4 Purwokerto. This study showed an increase from Cycle 1 to cycle 2 for mathematical connection ability test results and increased learning motivation. The results showed the following: (1) mathematical connection Ability Test in Cycle 1 has an average 71 with sufficient category, while in Cycle 2 has an average of 84 with good Category, (2) student learning motivation in Cycle 1 category is very good at 4% and good category at 11%, while in Cycle 2 category is very good at 15% and good category at 22%.References
