Abstract

This research implements the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve the learning achievement of Pancasila Education in 32 class IV students at SD Negeri 5 Teluk. This Classroom Action Research uses observation, tests, and qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The minimum learning achievement is 80% of students reaching the Learning Goal Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The research results show an increase in student learning processes and achievements after using the PBL model. The 10-step PBL model applied includes apperception, group formation, explanation of goals, problem orientation, learning organization, independent/group investigation, development of work results, analysis and evaluation of problem solving, material summary, and final evaluation. The implementation of the PBL model effectively increases learning achievement, as seen from the increase in student learning completeness from 43.75% (pre-action) to 80% (cycle II).
