Pendidikan Pancasila sebagai Landasan Pembentukan Karakter Bangsa: Pemikiran Ki Hadjar Dewantara

Character education plays a fundamental role in shaping a nation's future by cultivating not only intellectual capabilities but also strong moral values and integrity in students. This study highlights the significance of character education in the context of Indonesia's national education, with particular focus on the pedagogical ideas of Ki Hajar Dewantara. Using a qualitative research approach, this research employs literature review as the primary method to analyze Dewantara's educational principles and their relevance to the strengthening of nationalism in the modern era. The study reveals that Dewantara's educational philosophy, which emphasizes holistic development encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, aligns well with the current educational goals of fostering a well-rounded character. Furthermore, this research underscores the need for integrating character education into the curriculum and daily teaching practices, as suggested by contemporary studies. The findings show that character education must be a collective responsibility involving families, schools, and society. Dewantara's principles, including the values of honesty, discipline, creativity, and social responsibility, are essential in forming a generation that is not only competent but also virtuous and aligned with the nation's ideals.References
