Abstract

Digitalization of learning has become a crucial aspect of Islamic education in enhancing 21st-century skills. This article aims to explore digitalization strategies that can be implemented in Islamic education and their impact on student skill development. With the continuous advancement of digital technology, knowledge of using information and communication technology (ICT) has become a necessity for everyone, including in the field of education. Digital literacy not only involves the ability to use ICT but also helps individuals develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and efficient interaction skills in the digital world (Rahmadani, State Islamic Institute of Bengkalis, et al., 2024). The research employed a qualitative approach with a literature review from various international sources. Results indicated that the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in Islamic religious learning not only enhanced accessibility to materials but also enriched students' learning experiences. The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities faced by educators in implementing digital education. This research concluded that effective digitalization strategies can help create interactive and innovative learning environments and prepare students for global challenges.
