Abstract

Mastery Learning is a learning approach that emphasizes full mastery of a concept or skill before students move on to the next stage. This method aims to address differences in individual learning abilities by providing varied time and support according to student needs. In Mastery Learning, the teacher acts as a facilitator who provides feedback and remediation for students who need it. This approach involves stages of formative evaluation, differentiated learning and continuous feedback to ensure each student reaches the desired level of understanding. Research shows that the application of Mastery Learning can improve students' learning outcomes, motivation and confidence. By emphasizing deep learning, Mastery Learning can create a more inclusive and effective educational environment, ultimately promoting equitable academic success among students.
