Peran Pendidikan Luar Sekolah Dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Di PKBM Ladang Edukasi Medan

Abstract

This research discusses the role of out-of-school education in strengthening character education at the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) Ladang Edukasi Medan. Out-of-school education is an important alternative in providing education that is inclusive, flexible and based on community needs. This study highlights the various learning programs at PKBM Ladang Edukasi that are designed to shape learners' characters, such as honesty, responsibility, discipline and cooperation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study reveals that character values-based program management, community involvement and participatory learning methods are key to the success of strengthening character education. The results show that PKBM Ladang Edukasi Medan is able to create a learning environment that supports the transformation of students' characters. The findings provide important implications for the development of out-of-school education as a strategic vehicle to form a generation with character in the midst of community dynamics.
