Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of sensorimotor stimulation on the gross motor development of children aged 1–3 years at TPA IT Ar Risalah Kebumen. This study uses a quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. The subjects were 10 children aged 1–3 years. Data were obtained through gross motor development observation sheets and analyzed using the t-test with SPSS version 26 software. The results showed a significant increase in children's gross motor development after being given sensorimotor stimulation, with an average pretest score of 55 to a posttest of 85. Sensorimotor stimulation has been proven to be effective in improving children's walking, running, jumping, and balance abilities. This study develops a structured sensorimotor stimulation program that can be applied at TPA IT Ar Risalah Kebumen, provides practical modules for educators, and provides new contributions in the integration of sensorimotor stimulation to support the gross motor development of early childhood systematically.
