Abstract

The main problem in education today is the low effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, which is often caused by educators' lack of deep understanding of the concepts of learning and teaching. Many teachers still use conventional methods that are no longer relevant to the needs of today's students. To address this issue, this study aims to examine the basic concepts of learning and teaching and evaluate effective teaching strategies to improve the quality of education. This study uses a library research method with a descriptive-qualitative approach. Data was collected from various scientific literature related to education, learning theories, and teaching strategies. The findings indicate that learner-centered, experience-based, and contextual learning approaches can enhance active participation, motivation, and learning outcomes. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of learning principles and the application of appropriate teaching strategies are essential for creating a more effective and meaningful educational process.
