Pengaruh Pengetahuan Petani Terhadap Tingkat Adopsi Usahatani Jagung Di Desa Pesaku

Agriculture plays an important role in supporting food security and rural livelihoods, yet the adoption of agricultural innovations among farmers remains uneven. This study aims to analyze the effect of farmers’ knowledge on the adoption level of maize farming practices in Pesaku Village. The research applied a survey method with a quantitative approach involving 24 maize farmers as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and field observations, then analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate that farmers’ knowledge has a positive and significant effect on adoption level, with a regression coefficient of 0,641 and a significance value below 0,05. The coefficient of determination shows that 72,7 percent of the variation in adoption level is explained by farmers’ knowledge. This study highlights the importance of strengthening farmers’ knowledge through extension, training, and empowerment programs to improve the adoption of innovations and support sustainable maize farming development.
