Pengaruh Arang Sekam Padi dan Pupuk Kandang Kambing terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Ubi Jalar Ungu pada Tanah Berpasir

The study aims to analyze and test the effect of rice husk charcoal and goat manure on the growth and yield of purple sweet potatoes in sandy soil. The study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of two treatment factors and 3 blocks. Treatment factor I is rice husk charcoal consisting of 3 levels: 4, 6, and 8 tons ha-1. Treatment factor II is goat manure consisting of 3 levels: 10, 20, and 30 tons ha-1. The results of the study showed that rice husk charcoal had a significant effect on stem length, number of leaves, and tuber diameter. Goat manure treatment had a very significant effect on the variables of stem length, number of leaves, tuber diameter, number of tubers, tuber weight, and harvest index. The interaction of both treatments had a significant effect on the harvest index. The treatment of 8 tons ha-1 of rice husk charcoal and 30 tons ha-1 of goat manure was the most effective treatment.
