Abstract

This study aims to prove that the aspect of prophetic leadership is able to influence employee job satisfaction. Data collection techniques used in this study were conducted through interviews, observation and documentation. This data collection technique uses the Purposive Sampling method, this method uses criteria that have been selected as a tool to measure the influence of prophetic leadership, there are four (4) aspects by researchers in determining the sample, namely Shiddiq, Amanah, Tabligh and Fathanah. This study analyzes questionnaire data that has been collected by researchers from 30% of the employee population at the University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang. Based on the prophetic leadership item scale of 40 tested items, 38 items were tested, with a range of correlation coefficient values for each item between r = 0.3842 - 0.7780 and Alpha reliability coefficient of 0.9618. The results of the research based on the analysis of the correlation coefficient r test can be seen that employee job satisfaction is significantly correlated (p <0.05) to the four aspects of prophetic leadership. The result is that the aspect of trustworthiness has the highest correlation, namely 0.692 or 69.2% by showing a significant value of 0.005 <0.05, which means that the Amanah aspect has the influence of prophetic leadership on employee job satisfaction at the Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang.
