Abstract
Kajian ini banyak dipengaruhi oleh kondisi kehidupan manusia, khususnya hubungan sastra dengan masyarakatnya. Aspek yang dibahas di sini adalah kondisi dan situasi yang dialami oleh masyarakat miskin. Sikap hidup mereka yang disebabkan oleh kerasnya sistem industri baru, sebagaimana tercermin dalam novel Charles Disken, Oliver Twist. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis, kajian ini berupaya memberikan gambaran yang gambling mengenai kondisi sosial budaya dan penderitaan orang-orang miskin dan anak-anak pada masa revolusi industri.There is no Figure or data content available for this article
