PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIKA PADA PASIEN ANAK PENDERITA TIFUS ABDOMINALIS DI INSTALASI RAWAT INAP RSUD BANYUMAS PERIODE AGUSTUS 2009 – JULI 2010

ABSTRAK Tifus abdominalis merupakan penyakit infeksi sistemik dengan tingkat kematian yang signifikan terjadi hampir sepanjang tahun. Penyakit ini masih merupakan permasalahan kesehatan umum yang terjadi di negara-negara berkembang, terutama pada anak-anak di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan antibiotika pada pasien anak penderita tifus abdominalis di instalasi rawat inap RSUD Banyumas periode Agustus 2009-Juli 2010. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode retrospektif menggunakan data rekam medik yang dianalisis dan dibandingkan dengan standar terapi RSUD Banyumas. Sampel yang digunakan diambil secara menyeluruh sebanyak 19 pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, penderita tifusd abdominalis pada anak laki laki 63,16% dan anak perempuan 36,84%. Terdapat enam jenis antibiotika yang digunakan dalam 19 kasus tifus abdominalis. Klorampenikol merupakan antibiotika pilihan utama terhadap salmonella typi dan banyak digunakan di RSUD Banyumas. Kata kunci : antibiotika, pasien anak, tifus abdominalis, RSUD Banyumas ABSTRACT Typhus abdominalis is the systemic infectious disease with significant morbidity almost throughout the year. It is still a common health problem in developing countries, especially children in Indonesia. The objective of this study is to investigate the utilization of antibiotics in hospitalized children patient with Typhus abdominalis at RSUD Banyumas during the period of August 2009-July 2010. This was a retrospective study using medical record data that analysed and compared with therapy standard of RSUD Banyumas. The whole samples were admitted amount 19 patient. The result showed that 63,16% boys and 36,84% girls are positive typus abdominalis. There are six kinds of antibiotic agent used by 19 cases. Clorampenikol was still become the drugs of choice against salmonella typhi and most widely used at RSUD Banyumas. Key word : antibiotics, children, typhus abdominalis, RSUD BanyumasReferences
