Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak kulit batang daun Garcinia forbesii (Guttiferae). Uji aktivitas antioksiodan dari masing-masing ekstrak menggunakan metode pembentukan radikal DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil). Dari fraksi aktif antioksidan telah diisolasi senyawa stigmasterol dengan teknik kromatografi kolom. Identifikasi struktur dilakukan berdasarkan data UV, IR, 1H NMR dan 13C NMR. Ekstrak heksan, diklorometan dan metanol menunjukan persentase inhibisi berturut-turut pada 88%, 93% dan 86%.Downloads
