Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Senyawa Penanda Dari Daun Jakang (Muehlenbeckia platyclada MEISSN)
Abstract
ABSTRACT Muehlenbeckia platyclada Meissn, also known as jakang, can be used as a medication for pustules, skin ulcer, trauma injury, also snake and centipede bites. The objectives of this study were to isolate and to identify compound marker of jakang herb as a parameter of herbal medicine standardization by using another herbs from the same family as comparisons. Jakang herbs extraction was conducted by using soxhletation method with petroleum ether, chloroform, and ethanol 96% as solvents continuously. Detected compound marker was isolated using Preparative Thin Layered Chromatography and isolate identification was conducted using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Compound detected as a compound marker of jakang herbs was located at hRf 47. Compound marker acquired from the isolation was a flavon compound that has 5-OH with prenyl structure on C6 and free-OH structure on C8, C7, and C4’. Key words: compound marker identification, compound marker isolation, jakang herb.References
