Kata kunci: epilepsi, dosis, interkasi obat, pasien umum dan askes ABSTRACT Epilepsy is one of common illness that occurs in society, not only in the matter of medical side but also social and economy to the patients or family. Treatment of epilepsy is used for long period to overcome catalepsy and other complains, therefore, and there is possibility to encounter dosage problem and drug interaction. This research was done to identify dosage problem and drug interaction to Health Insurance (Askes) and regular patients in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto Public Hospital. The method of this research was analytic observational through “Cross Sectional design” and retrospective data memory from patient medical record. Male were more dominant in regular and Askes groups (47/53.3%). Epilepsy patients experience the lack of dosage was 4(9.1%) in regular and 3(6.8%) in Askes patients. Patients received excessive dosage we of regular patient 1(2.3%). Drugs interaction on the other hand, genesis to regular patients was 17(38.6%) and 15(34.1%) of Askes patients. Of statistically showed (p>0.05) that there was no significant difference in interaction and dosage problem in regular and Askes epilepsy patients. It can be concluded that there was no significant difference in the lack of dosage, over dosage and interaction between regular and Askes patients.
