Author Guidelines

Review of Applied Accounting Research (RAAR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. It aims at providing timely and critical insights on applied and accounting issues, serving as a space for ideas dissemination among academics, professionals, research scholars, and graduate students. The scope ranges from literature review, contemporary issue, to other areas related to accounting research. RAAR receives research papers and scholarly articles submission throughout the year for publication in February and October in a year. Potential authors of RAAR highly encourage to go through this author guideline and the publication ethics before proceeding with their submission.

General requirements and points to note

  1. Any manuscript submitted to RAAR should not have been published elsewhere, or sent to other journals, or be under another publisher’s consideration until there is a notification from RAAR.
  2. All the business of this journal is conducted through the websites http://jurnalnasional.ump.ac.id/index.php/RAAR/ and the editorial team will only communicate to the corresponding author, considered as the representative of the authors of the submitted work.
  3. All manuscripts submitted to RAAR will be reviewed anonymously by peer-reviewers who have expertise on the issue or perspective of the manuscript.
  4. Plagiarism issues may arise when the author, after using another person’s work, claims to be the source of the material. However, similarities might happen due to inappropriate citation or in a case where the paraphrase was not well stated. To avoid any plagiarism issues, we suggest to authors to screen their papers using plagiarism screening tools such as Turnitin or Grammarly Premium. RAAR will not proceed with the submission subject to this issue and will return it to be fixed and resubmitted. RAAR might also reject it without further consideration if it notices that it was done intentionally (see plagiarism policy for further information).
