Abstract

Menurut beberapa siswa mereka mengatakan bahwa materi segitiga dan segiempat, sulit dan ada juga yang bingung saat menghitung keliling dan luas.LKS yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat melatih kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa untuk menerapkan dan memperdalam konsep matematika. Penelitian pengembangan adalah penelitian yang di gunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu, dan menguji kefektifan produk tersebut. Berdasarkan ujicoba ahli terdapat beberapa masukan. Setelah mendapatkan masukan dari ahli maka dilakukan revisi kemudian baru dilaksanakan uji lapangan. Hasil pertimbangan para ahli dianalisis menggunakan statistik Q-Cochran hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa signifikansi asimtotis 0,423 dengan nilai statistik Q = 6,000 dan nilai Q table (0.05;6) = 12.592. Karena nilai Q lebih kecil dari nilai tabel pada taraf signifikasi a = 0.05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa para penimbang telah menimbang validitas isi tiap butir soal secara seragam. Dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS valid. Dari hasil evaluasi dapat disimpulakan bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa pada evaluasi pertemuan I adalah 82,85 dan rata-rata nilai evaluasi pertemuan II adalah 83,57, jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa sudah dapat menguasai materi yang ada pada LKS dan kemampuan komuniksi matematis siswa meningkat. Respon siswa terhadap LKS yang digunakan positif sebesar 94,45%.
