About the Journal

AlphaMath: Journal of Mathematics Education is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal committed to the dissemination of innovative and high-quality research in the field of mathematics education. Each submitted manuscript undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer review process, starting with an initial editorial screening followed by evaluation from at least two independent reviewers. This ensures the academic rigor and integrity of all published articles.

The journal welcomes original research manuscripts that contribute meaningfully to the discipline of mathematics education. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

 
  • Mathematics education curriculum development
  • Innovative and creative approaches to mathematics learning
  • Learning media in mathematics education
  • Assessment and evaluation practices
  • Development of mathematical thinking skills
  • Ethnomathematics
  • Integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in mathematics teaching and learning

All manuscripts must be original, written in English, and not under review by other journals or conferences at the time of submission.

Since 2021, AlphaMath Journal has been officially accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.

To enhance publication quality, the journal introduced a new manuscript template beginning with Volume 10, Issue 1 (2024). This template is available for download on the journal website. Furthermore, as part of our commitment to improved accessibility and user experience, AlphaMath Journal migrated to a new Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform in April 2025. All newly published articles are now accessible through this updated system. For earlier publications, the archive remains available via the previous journal website.
