Upgrading Higher-Order Thinking of UMP Mathematics Education Student Through Project Based Learning Model in Advanced Calculus Course 1

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas III C semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/ 2014. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari dua kali pembelajaran dan satu kali tes. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pada sisklus I rata-rata skor tes 3,66 artinya masuk kriteria baik. Dengan rata-rata kemampuan analisis 4,54 , evaluasi yaitu 2,76, dan kreasi 2,83. Hasil penelitian Siklus II yaitu rata-rata skor tes 4,16 artinya masuk kriteria sangat baik. Dengan rata-rata kemampuan analisis 4,60, evaluasi 4,12, dan kreasi 2,88. Dari hasil tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi mahasiswa pada siklus II, terlihat mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I dan minimal masuk kriteria baik, sehingga penelitian dikatakan berhasil.
