UMPurwokerto Law Review accepts submissions from authors worldwide. All accepted articles are subject to an article processing charge and will be freely accessible to all readers, ensuring global visibility and coverage.
Peer Review Process
The editors of UMPurwokerto Law Review promptly decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions of submitted manuscripts based on peer reviews and editorial judgment. Editors may also seek additional reviews if necessary. Authors will be informed if further review is required. Initially, each submission is assessed by the editors for relevance to the journal’s scope and adherence to writing guidelines.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both reviewers and authors are concealed throughout the review process to ensure academic integrity and impartiality.

Galley Proof and Publication Process
Steps 1 to 5 constitute one round of the peer review process.
Editorial Decision Outcomes:

Accepted as is – The paper is published in its original form.

Accepted with Minor Revisions – The paper will be published after small corrections are made by the author within a specified timeframe.

Accepted with Major Revisions – The paper will be published if substantial changes, as suggested by reviewers and/or editors, are made within the stipulated timeframe.

Resubmit (Conditional Rejection) – The paper requires major changes and may be reconsidered in a new round of review after revision.

Rejected – The paper is not suitable for publication and will not be reconsidered, even after revision.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
