Klasifikasi Kerentanan Beras Asal Mutasi Radiasi Terhadap Sitophilus oryzae L. Berdasarkan Kadar Air

Sitophilus oryzae (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) atau hama kumbang bubuk beras merupakan hama primer di penyimpanan beras. Kerentanan dan kerusakan beras asal mutasi radiasi di penyimpanan dipengaruhi oleh kadar air. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menentukan klasifikasi kerentanan serta kerusakan beras asal mutasi radiasi berdasarkan kadar air dan pengaruh interaksinya setelah infestasi S. oryzae. Penelitian dirancang dengan bentuk faktorial menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan jenis beras asal mutasi radiasi dan kadar air. Jenis beras dari Varietas Mustajab, Mustaban Agritan, Inpari Mugibat, Diah Suci, dan Bestari, serta kadar air yaitu 12 dan 14%. Variable pengamatan meliputi jumlah F1, median waktu perkembangan, indeks kerentanan, dan susut berat beras. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan pada kadar air 14% terjadi peningkatan jumlah F1, indeks kerentanan, susut berat beras, dan median waktu perkembangan lebih singkat dibandingkan dengan kadar air 12%.  Kelompok katagori kerentanan beras pada kadar 12 dan 14% tergolong moderat. Katagori kerentanan beras asal mutasi radiasi beragam mulai moderat sampai rentan. Jumlah F1, indeks kerentanan, dan susut berat beras tertinggi serta median waktu perkembangan paling singkat dijumpai pada Varietas Inpari Mugibat. Interaksi antara beras dari Varietas Inpari Mugibat pada kadar air 12% dan 14% mengakibatkan peningkatan jumlah F1, indeks kerentanan, susut berat beras, dan median waktu perkembangan yang singkat serta kerentanannya tergolong moderat sampai rentan.References
