PENGARUH BEBERAPA METODE PENGERINGAN TERHADAP KADAR FLAVONOID TOTAL HERBA SAMBILOTO ( Andrographis paniculata)

ABSTRAK Sambiloto merupakan tanaman yang sejak dahulu digunakan sebagai obat tradisional karena khasiatnya yang sangat banyak diantaranya adalah perangsang daya kekebalan tubuh. Telah dilakukan pengeringan terhadap tanaman sambiloto dengan beberapa metode. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah metode atau cara pengeringan dapat mempengaruhi kadar flavonoid total pada ekstrak herba sambiloto (Andrographis paniculata). Ekstraksi herba sambiloto menggunakan metode sokletasi dan uji kadar flavonoid total ekstrak herba sambiloto dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode KLT Densitometri. Hasil data KLT Densitometri menunjukkan bahwa kadar flavonoid total herba sambiloto dengan pengeringan sinar matahari langsung sebesar 24%, pengeringan dengan kain hitam 33,3% dan pengeringan dengan oven sebesar 29%. Kata Kunci: Andrographis paniculata, Flavonoid, KLT Densitometri. ABSTRACT Sambiloto is a plant which has been used as a traditional medicine since a long ago, because of activity as immunomodulator. It has been done the research of drying of sambiloto plant by some methods. This research was aimed to know whether the method of drying of sambiloto plant can influence the content of total flavonoid in extract sambiloto herb ( Andrographis paniculata ). The extraction of sambiloto herb was used by soxhletation method and the content total of flavonoid extract sambiloto herb were determined using by TLC Densitometry. The result of TLC Densitometry data showed that the content of total flavonoid sambiloto herb by direct sunlight drying was abaout 24%, by black cloth was about 29% and by oven was about 33,3%.
