PERBANDINGAN DAYA ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN TEMBAKAU (Nicotiana tabacum L) DENGAN RUTIN TERHADAP RADIKAL BEBAS 1,1-DIPHENIL-2-PIKRILHIDRAZIL (DPPH)

ABSTRAK Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk membandingkan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak metanol daun tembakau dengan rutin. Percobaan ini dilakukan dengan membuat ekstrak metanol daun tembakau secara soxhletasi dan mengukur absorbansi DPPH dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada λ 517nm. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji t dengan taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol daun tembakau dan rutin memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang berbeda. Kata kunci: Antioksidan, 1,1-diphenil-2-pikrilhidrazil, ekstrak metanol tembakau, rutin. ABSTRACT An experiment was done to compare the antioxidant activity of methanolic extract of tobacco leaves and rutin. This experiment was conducted by extracting methanolic extract of tobacco leaves with soxhletation method with methanol and measuring the absorbance of DPPH using spectrofotometry UV- Vis in λ 517 nm. The obtained data was analized by t-test with the confidence level 95%. The result showed that methanolic extract of tobacco leaves extract and rutin have the different of antioxidant activity.
