Promosi Kesehatan Tentang Pengenalan Milestone dan Pertumbuhan Awal Anak

Periode pertumbuhan awal anak merupakan fase krusial dalam menentukan perkembangan holistik anak. Milestone perkembangan seperti kemampuan motorik, bahasa, dan interaksi sosial harus dicapai sesuai tahapan usia untuk memastikan perkembangan optimal. Promosi kesehatan yang fokus pada pengenalan milestone ini penting untuk memastikan anak mendapatkan perhatian. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua dan caregiver terhadap pentingnya pemantauan perkembangan anak sejak dini. Program ini melibatkan tiga tahap webinar dengan materi yang berfokus pada milestone perkembangan pada bayi, balita, dan anak usia pra-sekolah. Sasarannya adalah ibu balita dan komunitas Sahabat Ibu dan Anak, dengan pendampingan melalui grup WhatsApp untuk implementasi pemantauan perkembangan anak. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta dan tingginya antusiasme terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Interaksi aktif peserta selama sesi tanya jawab dan diskusi kelompok menunjukkan minat yang tinggi terhadap topik ini. Program ini tidak hanya membangun kesadaran tetapi juga memfasilitasi akses terhadap informasi dan dukungan yang diperlukan untuk mendukung perkembangan anak secara menyeluruh. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua dan caregiver mengenai pentingnya milestone perkembangan anak. Strategi pendidikan dan pendekatan komunitas melalui teknologi digital efektif dalam memberikan informasi yang relevan dan praktis. Dengan demikian, diharapkan program serupa dapat terus dilakukan untuk mendukung kesehatan dan kesejahteraan anak secara luas.
