Author Fees
Dinamika Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar (DJIPD) is a fully Open Access journal, ensuring that all published articles are freely and permanently accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or access charges.
To support the sustainability of high-quality scholarly publishing and maintain rigorous editorial standards, the journal applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. The APC contributes to the costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, manuscript production, digital publishing, DOI registration, plagiarism screening, website maintenance, and long-term digital preservation.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
Effective from the current publication period, an APC of:
IDR 1,000,000 (One Million Indonesian Rupiah)
will be charged for each manuscript accepted for publication in DJIPD.
The APC covers:
- Editorial processing and manuscript management.
- Double-blind peer-review administration.
- DOI registration through Crossref.
- Plagiarism screening using Turnitin or equivalent software.
- Copyediting and production processes.
- Online publication and Open Access dissemination.
- Digital archiving and long-term preservation of published content.
There are no additional page charges, and the APC remains the same regardless of manuscript length, provided that the manuscript complies with the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.
Waiver and Publication Fee Assistance Policy
DJIPD is committed to supporting the dissemination of high-quality educational research and recognizes that financial constraints may affect some authors.
Under special circumstances, authors may request a partial or full waiver of the APC. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be granted under conditions such as:
- The corresponding author demonstrates financial hardship.
- The research originates from underfunded institutions or educational organizations.
- The manuscript is invited by the Editorial Board.
- The article presents exceptional scholarly value and significant contribution to the field of elementary and primary education.
- Other reasonable circumstances deemed appropriate by the Editorial Board.
Authors requesting a waiver should submit a written explanation to the Editorial Office at the time of submission or immediately after receiving the acceptance decision.
Editorial Independence
Requests for APC waivers or publication fee assistance are evaluated independently from the editorial and peer-review process.
The ability or inability to pay publication fees does not influence:
- Editorial decisions,
- Peer-review outcomes,
- Manuscript acceptance or rejection.
All submissions are evaluated solely on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution to the field of elementary and primary education.
Refund Policy
Once a manuscript has been accepted and the publication process has commenced, APC payments are generally non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances determined by the Editorial Board.
Commitment to Open Access
By adopting an affordable APC model and providing opportunities for fee assistance where appropriate, DJIPD seeks to balance publication sustainability with equitable access to scholarly publishing.
The journal remains committed to promoting high-quality, accessible, and impactful research that contributes to the advancement of elementary and primary education at national and international levels.
