Journal History
Dinamika Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar (DJIPD) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the Department of Elementary Teacher Education (PGSD), Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, in collaboration with Himpunan Dosen PGSD Indonesia (HDPGSDI). Since its establishment, the journal has consistently strengthened its commitment to advancing research, innovation, and scholarly communication in elementary and primary education.
Milestones and Achievements
2009
Dinamika Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar (DJIPD) was established as an academic platform for disseminating research findings, theoretical studies, and innovative educational practices in elementary and primary education. Since its inception, the journal has been published regularly twice a year, in March and September.
2015
DJIPD obtained its Print ISSN (P-ISSN 2087-412X), providing official recognition as a scholarly journal and supporting broader dissemination of educational research.
2017
The journal received its Electronic ISSN (E-ISSN 2655-870X), marking an important milestone in its transition toward digital publishing and increased accessibility for researchers and practitioners.
2018
DJIPD became a member of Crossref and began assigning Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to all published articles, improving article discoverability, citation tracking, and long-term preservation of scholarly content.
2019
DJIPD expanded its national and international visibility through inclusion in several indexing and abstracting databases, including:

- Dimensions
These achievements significantly enhanced the accessibility and dissemination of research published in the journal.
2021
DJIPD achieved national accreditation as a SINTA 3 Journal, representing a major milestone in its commitment to publication quality, editorial excellence, and scholarly impact. This accreditation recognized the journal’s continuous efforts to strengthen peer-review processes, editorial management, and research quality.
2022–2023
The journal further improved its editorial governance and publication standards by strengthening the double-blind peer-review system, enhancing publication ethics policies, expanding reviewer networks, and increasing engagement with researchers from universities and educational institutions across Indonesia.
2024
DJIPD successfully maintained its status as a SINTA 3 Accredited Journal. During this period, the journal continued to improve article quality, reference standards, research transparency, and compliance with international best practices in scholarly publishing.
2025
The journal implemented several strategic quality enhancement initiatives, including improvements to manuscript preparation guidelines, publication ethics policies, research integrity standards, and internationalization efforts. Greater emphasis was placed on methodological rigor, international literature engagement, and research impact.
2026
DJIPD continued its transformation toward becoming a nationally leading and internationally recognized journal in elementary and primary education. The journal strengthened its commitment to Open Access, research integrity, editorial transparency, and global scholarly communication.
2027
DJIPD continues to hold its SINTA 3 accreditation, valid through 2027, while pursuing continuous improvement in journal governance, editorial quality, international visibility, and scholarly impact. The journal remains committed to expanding its contribution to educational research and fostering collaboration among researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners at national and international levels.
