Prinsip dan Etika Konsumsi Islam (Tinjauan Maqashid Syariah)

Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana prinsip dan etika prilaku konsumsi masyarakat dalam presfektif ekonomi Islam ditinjau dari maqashid Syariah. Dengen menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui  pendekatan studi pustaka (library research), Dalam penelitian dijelaskan bahwa tujuan konsumsi dalam Islam adalah untuk mencapai mashalah (kesejahteraan/kebahagaian dunia dan akhirat) berbeda dengan konvensional yang tujuannya memenuhi kepuasan pribadi berdasarkan teori nilai guna. Adapun prinsip konsumsi dalam Islam terdiri dari prinsip kebolehan, tanggung jawab, keseimbangan (tidak kikir dan tidak berlebihan dan prioritas. Sementara itu etika konsumsi dalam ekonomi Islam adalah memperhatikan prioritas kebutuhan, mengkonsumsi produk halal, memperhatikan kualitas konsumsi (halal lagi baik), mengutamakan nilai maslahah serta kesederhanaan (tidak israf). Pada dasarnya kegiatan konsusmi Islam harus memperhatikan dan sesuai dengan maqahsid syariah agar tujuan konsumsi itu tercapai yaitu maslahah.
